Julia Majchrzak

I fell in love with glass in an intro course my sophomore year and haven't left the hot shop since. My practice is sculpture-led, often pairing glass with metal and wood. I work across many processes: furnace blowing, blown molds, hot casting with steel, wood, and sand, and kiln casting using lost-wax, plaster molds, and other techniques. Today I'm focused on bespoke, sustainability-minded pieces that bridge sculpture and design: objects with presence, purpose, and a lighter footprint.
